About
I am a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy graduate with over 400 hours of counselling experience. As a registered member of the BACP, I have participated in 150 hours of continuous professional development, in various topics including perinatal counselling, menopause, eating challenges, working with attachment and sleep.
I pride myself on being human, relatable and very passionate about this work. My clients have commented on my empathy and genuine care and I feel a great privilege to hold space and to be a part of the difficult journey of growth and healing.

My Therapeutic Approach
Being a trauma-informed practitioner, I would consider any past events that may be influencing the way you are currently feeling. Listening to the body, we may identify triggers, symptoms and explore ways of self-regulating. Collectively, these approaches bring together themes from your past and present to explore how you can live a more fulfilled life in the future.

Therapeutic Approaches
Person centred therapy focuses on a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, held and where you can be an active agent in creating change.
Cognitive therapy aims to identify any unhelpful thinking styles and explores how this has impacted your outlook on yourself, others and the world. This therapy explores alternative perspectives and more helpful ways of thinking, which positively impact how you feel and behave.

Solution-focused therapy explores any struggles in the present moment and aims to find ways of managing these issues, using your current strengths and tools as a foundation to build from.
